Senior Software Engineer

Ecolab is looking for a Sr Software Engineer to enhance, maintain and support business application platforms. The Sr Software Engineer will apply engineering and programming best practices to deliver and enhance software solutions that meet business needs.

Requirements

• Provide technical design/support/development for various business application platforms supporting Ecolab GBS business areas globally
• Provide analysis needed to resolve support issues, optimize system performance and ensure the availability, performance and application security of critical business platforms
• Provide operational support for various business applications
• Provide technical guidance to junior team members
• Collaborate with technology peers and third-party vendor support teams on support issues and solutions to meet business needs
• Participate in periodic maintenance activities, refreshes, patching, disaster recovery and upgrades
• Drive solutions to support issues to successful completion within the support SLA
• Responsible for the support and proactive monitoring of the business applications including installation, performance, break fixes and change requests per business requirements
• Create and maintain detailed business application documentation
