Senior Solutions Architect

Holland America Line is seeking a Senior Solutions Architect to design and implement technical and/or application solutions within their assigned tower. The ideal candidate has experience with architectural design, data and network flow diagrams, API and integration methods, and configuration/development principles.

Requirements

• Minimum of 10 years related experience with 3 years as a lead solutions architect in their respective tower discipline
• Minimum 5 years in a corporate technology environment
• Minimum 5 years architecting cloud-based solutions
• Expertise in managing and optimizing compute and storage systems
• Proficient in virtualization technologies and solutions
• Experience with containerization and cloud platforms, including deployment and management
• Knowledge of ServiceNow for IT service management and automation
• Strong focus on Operational Excellence
• 5+ years in the cruise line or hospitality industry is highly desirable
• Excellent critical thinking and problem solving skills with the ability to translate business needs into technology solutions
• Experience successfully leading small-medium architectural solutioning initiatives
• Able to review and identify technical dependencies between application and infrastructure areas
• Highly motivated and self directed
• Working knowledge of corporate IT disciplines and group dynamics
• Ability to travel 25% of the time
