Senior Staff Software Engineer

ServiceNow is seeking a Senior Staff Software Engineer to build and maintain high-quality code, implementing software that customers can customize and enhance. The role involves collaboration with product owners, contributing to product design, mentoring colleagues, and adhering to best practices for software engineering. This is a full-time position based in Santa Clara, California.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience with Java or a similar OO language
• Advanced knowledge with data structures, algorithms, object-oriented design, design patterns, and performance/scale considerations
• Experience with any of the modern UI frameworks like Angular, React or Vue
• Experience working with relational databases including development, troubleshooting, and performance optimization
• Experience with multiple technology stacks: Cloud Dev, Platforms, Web Dev, Frameworks or service–oriented architecture
