ServiceNow is seeking a Senior Technical Support Engineer to manage and resolve Performance and instance availability issues for its ServiceNow Technical Support team. This customer-facing role involves mentoring junior team members and providing technical guidance to customers. The position requires weekend or holiday work and a rotational shift pattern with 8am - 5pm work hours.

Requirements

  • Experience integrating AI into work processes
  • Troubleshooting difficult technical issues
  • Strong relational database skills (MySQL, Oracle)
  • Java experience
  • Strong scripting skills (JavaScript, Python, Perl, Unix Shell, Windows Shell)
  • Advanced Unix/Linux experience
  • Work knowledge of web application stack components (SOAP, REST)
  • Experience diagnosing performance degradation
  • Teamwork and communication skills
