The ServiceNow Administrator is responsible for configuring, maintaining, and operating the ServiceNow IT Service Management (ITSM) platform. This role ensures effective support for various agency functions, including help desk, incident management, knowledge management, and reporting. Collaboration with IT support teams and leadership is key to implementing workflows, data integrity, and IT service delivery.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field, or equivalent experience
- 3–5 years of ServiceNow administration experience in a mid-to-large enterprise
- Strong knowledge of ServiceNow ITSM modules (Incident, Problem, Change, Knowledge, Service Catalog)
- Experience with ServiceNow scripting (JavaScript, Glide API), reporting, and dashboards
- Familiarity with integrations via REST/SOAP APIs
- Knowledge of ITIL v3/v4 practices
- Must pass background investigation
