ServiceNow Solution Architect - Fixed Term - Immediate Start

Datacom is seeking an experienced ServiceNow Solution Architect for a 12-month fixed term contract role based in Brisbane, Queensland, Australia. The architect will lead the end-to-end migration of their internal IT service management platform to ServiceNow, defining architecture, designing integrations, and working with stakeholders. The role involves translating business needs into a ServiceNow solution, establishing governance, and mentoring delivery teams.

Requirements

• Proven ServiceNow Solution Architect experience leading enterprise migrations or large-scale platform implementations.
• Deep knowledge across ServiceNow modules (ITSM, CMDB/Discovery, ITOM, ITSM integrations); hands-on configuration and development experience.
• Strong experience with data migration: discovery tools, data mapping, transformation, reconciliation and validation.
• Solid integration architecture skills: REST/SOAP, MID Server, LDAP/SSO, webhooks, message queuing patterns.
• ServiceNow certifications (CSA or higher, CIS, CIS-ITOM desirable) and solid ITIL/enterprise process knowledge.
• Excellent stakeholder, workshop and communication skills—able to influence senior leadership and technical teams.
• Experience establishing governance, CI/CD and source-control for ServiceNow development.
• 7+ years in enterprise architecture or solution architecture roles, with evidence of delivering business outcomes from platform changes.
