This role involves designing and delivering user-centric interfaces, user workflows, and design solutions for ServiceNow applications. The successful candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify areas for improvement and develop strategies to enhance the overall service experience.
Requirements
- College degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Management Systems, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field
- Hands-on experience designing within the ServiceNow platform Design System
- Demonstrated experience creating and customizing widgets using the Service Portal Widget Editor
- Familiarity with Web 2.0 technologies such as Java scripting, XML, HTML, Ajax, CSS, JSON, Perl, Apache Jelly, jQuery, AngularJS, etc.
- Hands on experience writing low and medium complexity JavaScript in Business Rules, Script Includes, and Custom ACLs
- ServiceNow certifications (e.g., Certified Application Developer, UX Designer) are highly preferred
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Ability to communicate complex concepts clearly and persuasively across different audiences and varying levels of the organization
