ServiceNow UX Developer

Okta is seeking a ServiceNow UX Developer to join their team. The ideal candidate will translate user research and business requirements into effective UX designs, develop engaging and user-friendly interfaces, and enhance out-of-the-box ServiceNow components.

Requirements

• Minimum of 3-5 years experience on the ServiceNow platform
• At least 2-3 years specifically dedicated to custom Service Portal or Next Experience UI development
• Experience with modern front-end frameworks, including AngularJS, React, jQuery, and Bootstrap
• Ability to conduct qualitative and quantitative research, including interviews, surveys, and usability testing
• Proficiency in creating low-fidelity sketches and high-fidelity interactive prototypes
• Strong understanding of UI design principles and the ability to craft engaging, aesthetically pleasing, and intuitive interactions
• Experience with responsive design principles and cross-browser compatibility
• Extensive experience with the ServiceNow Employee Center (or Service Portal), including widget development, theme customization, and portal configuration
• Experience with UI Builder for constructing Next Experience UI Landing Pages, Configurable Workspaces, and custom web experiences
• Familiarity with ServiceNow's UI policies, client scripts, and business rules as they relate to user experience
• Ability to stay updated on UI/UX best practices, emerging technologies, and ServiceNow platform changes
