Leidos is seeking a Site Asset Staff to provide support managing the supply chain, arranging transportation and storage of materials, and transportation management. The role involves tracking and managing equipment, developing and implementing logistics processes, and contributing to process improvement initiatives.
Requirements
- Track and manage the addition and removal of equipment within the customer network
- Develop, implement, and maintain logistics processes and procedures
- Assist in creating, monitoring, and implementing training plans for the logistics team
- Monitor and report progress on meeting requirements within various customer reporting systems
- Support logistics leads in overseeing and coordinating global logistics operations
- Provide assistance during customer Supply Chain Management Review (SCMR) audits
- Contribute to process improvement initiatives by identifying inefficiencies and proposing effective solutions
- Approve and oversee equipment transfers for hub and tail sites
- Collaborate with the Broadside Configuration Management team and Tier II technicians
- Develop site-specific inventory plans and continuously monitor and report on inventory status and updates
- Track and manage the disposal of equipment throughout the program
- Oversee and report on Return Material Authorization (RMA) deliveries and turn-ins
- Work closely with site personnel to maintain adequate consumable property stock levels
- Track, trace, and update the status of shipments as necessary
