Site Reliability Engineer II

Requirements

• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Excellent English communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability for building rapport and handling customers over high-pressure situations and escalations
• Proven experience with RedHat Enterprise Linux (RHEL)
• Knowledge of web technologies (JBoss, Tomcat, Apache HTTP Server, Open AM). Outsystems a plus
• Support Knowledge of cloud platform Amazon Web Services (AWS) such as EC2, EKS, Lambda, S3
• Support knowledge of containerization technologies such as Docker and/or Kubernetes
• Experience with observability tools such as Kibana, Splunk, Prometheus
• Working knowledge of relational database systems – MySQL, SQL Server 2005/2008/2012, Oracle 11 and Oracle RAC
• Experienced with LDAP design, implementation and networking
• Knowledge of Storage Management Solutions (SAN, NAS, etc.)
• Working knowledge of networking systems and protocols, firewalls and TCP/IP networks, standards, and architectures
• Familiarity with ITIL standards and technologies (ServiceNow)
• Scripting/programming experience in Puppet, PowerShell, PERL,.NET, Python, bash or UNIX Shell a plus
• Experience in full-stack software development with Java, debugging, log analysis, is also a plus
