Software Asset Management Analyst

Avantor is looking for a Software Asset Management Analyst to oversee the end-to-end lifecycle of software assets across the enterprise. The Analyst will maintain the company’s IT portfolio, ensuring alignment with business needs, compliance requirements, and technology strategy.

Requirements

• Manage the full software asset lifecycle
• Maintain and continuously improve the company’s IT software portfolio
• Collaborate with Procurement, Finance, Security, and IT Operations
• Monitor usage and entitlements
• Document, communicate, and enforce software standards and policies
• Work with 3rd party SAM vendors
• Support audits and compliance initiatives
• Maintain relationships with key software vendors and internal stakeholders
• Develop and maintain dashboards and reports
• Participate in the evaluation and onboarding of new software solutions
• Evaluate, select, and support SAM tool implementation
• Act as a subject matter expert for software lifecycle management processes and tools
• Identify and implement process improvements and automation opportunities
• Provide training and guidance to IT and business teams
• Provide asset-related data for investigations or audits
