Software Asset Management Analyst (IT Audit)

AssistRx seeks an experienced IT Asset Management Analyst with a specialization in Software Asset Management to oversee the end-to-end lifecycle of software assets, ensuring compliance, optimizing licensing costs, and maintaining accurate software inventory.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in IT Asset Management with a strong focus on Software Asset Management (SAM)
• In-depth knowledge of software licensing models (perpetual, subscription, SaaS, enterprise agreements) across major vendors (Microsoft, Adobe, Salesforce, etc.)
• Hands-on experience with SAM tools such as Flexera, Snow Software, ServiceNow Asset Management, or equivalent
• Familiarity with software audit processes and compliance reporting
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and provide actionable insights for optimization and compliance
• Working knowledge of ITIL Asset & Configuration Management practices
• Proficiency in Excel and data analysis/reporting
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• ITAM or SAM certifications (e.g., CSAM, CHAMP, ITIL) are highly preferred
