The Software Asset Manager will be responsible for managing and monitoring framework contracts, budgets, purchasing, and the quality of software activities. This includes contract management, budget oversight, software procurement, software governance, and knowledge management.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent through experience
- At least 3 years of recent relevant experience in Software Asset Management
- Knowledge of/experience with writing and improving standards and procedures, business process improvement, and planning/gathering requirements for business process automation
- Experience with software lifecycle management processes, purchasing, use and phasing out software
- Proven experience implementing and maintaining ServiceNow SAM or similar asset management platforms
- Strong understanding of IT asset management and software licensing
