Software Engineer position for IBM I Series/AS400, looking for professionals with 1-2 years of experience in AS400 Administration and other relevant skills.
Requirements
- 1-2 Years Experience in AS400 Administration
- Perform AS400 system health check and make sure all the AS400 servers are available
- Proficient in written and oral communications to Team regarding any systems issues discovered during Health checks or reported by users and Customer
- Ensure the organization of operations with an alert and proactive approach
- Able to work with Team on AS400 system issues
- Experience with ITSM tools like ServiceNow to work with the status of changes, Service requests and incidents (critical or visible issues going on)
- Proficient in written and oral communications to customer in English
- Basic knowledge of BRMS. Ability to monitor and track backup status and preferably able to submit backup using BRMS control groups
- Basic understanding of User Access management on IBMi System and preferably have experience with providing access to users on iSeries systems
- Ability to communicate and work with provider (Vendor) like IBM or Application vendor for troubleshooting issues and get research information by opening Tickets
- Manage customer requirements in order to deliver it timely and with high quality
