Software Engineer, Journeyman

The opportunity is to work as a Journeyman Software Engineer at CACI, supporting U.S. Southern Command (USSOUTHCOM) in Doral, Florida. The role involves developing and sustaining USSOUTHCOM software and applications, conducting testing, and providing end-of-life replacement support.

Requirements

• US Citizen with active Secret security clearance
• Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, or related field
• One or more of the following certifications: Microsoft Certified Azure Administrator Associate, IEEE Certified Software Development Professional (CSDP), Scrum Alliance Certification (CSD, CSM), AWS Certified Developer – Associate, Oracle Certified Professional (OCP), Certified Secure Software Lifecycle Professional (CSSLP), Google Cloud Professional Developer, Red Hat Certified Enterprise Application Developer, or Professional Software Engineering Master Certification
• 3-5 years of relevant experience
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Experience with change management tools and ITSM platforms (ServiceNow)
