Software Strategic Sourcing Advisor - Principal Consultant

ISG is seeking a Software Strategic Sourcing Advisor (Principal Consultant) to lead or support software sourcing engagements for mid-size to large clients. The role requires a dynamic and creative individual with at least 15 years of enterprise software experience, strong analytical and communication skills, and the ability to develop and implement effective sourcing strategies. The advisor will work independently, interacting with clients to achieve high customer satisfaction and support sales efforts.

Requirements

• 15 + years of enterprise cloud and enterprise software strategic sourcing expertise
• Possess Quantitative Analysis skills (financial or price modeling)
• Experience negotiating with leading software vendors (SAP, Salesforce, ServiceNow, Oracle, Broadcom, Adobe, Cisco, VMWare, Dell/EMC, Google, AWS, IBM/Red Hat)
• Strong presentation skills
• Ability to define projects, objectives, goals, and assignments
• Project management skills (simple to complex)
• Ability to present and sell ideas at multiple levels in a large organization
• Understanding of enterprise sourcing cultures and behaviors
• Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
• Software provider research and market analysis skills
