Solutions Engineer

DigiCert is seeking a Solutions Engineer to combine technical expertise with strong sales skills. The role involves identifying and qualifying new business opportunities, collaborating with customers, and providing technical guidance throughout the sales process. This position focuses on delivering end-to-end technical and business value, as well as acting as a trusted advisor for clients.

Requirements

• Degree in Computer Information Systems, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related technical field.
• 3+ years’ experience as an SE or technical salesperson, or equivalent.
• General knowledge or background in IT (ideally server administration, server OS configuration, TCP/IP networking hardware, protocols, LAN and WAN technologies & configurations, and network design).
• Familiarity with cryptographic principles, digital certificates, and PKI concepts.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, Oracle Cloud) and container technologies like Kubernetes.
• Experience or familiarity with ServiceNow, GitHub, and REST API integrations.
• Experience with scripting and automation using Bash, PowerShell, Python, or similar languages.
• Experience with DevOps and infrastructure automation tools (e.g., Terraform, Ansible, Puppet, Chef).
• Basic project management skills.
