Sr. Internal Auditor

The Squires Group is seeking an internal auditor to evaluate internal controls, lead audit projects, and provide recommendations to strengthen processes and reduce risk in the energy and utilities industry. The role requires strong analytical skills and the ability to work independently with minimal travel. This is a hybrid role.

Requirements

• Perform testing to assess the adequacy and effectiveness of internal controls.
• Conduct walkthroughs with business units to evaluate control design.
• Develop risk assessment matrices and test plans.
• Prepare findings and recommendations to enhance internal controls.
• Consult on policy and procedure changes.
• SOX Compliance (as assigned)
