Sr. Project Manager, IT

We’re building a relationship-oriented bank for the modern world. As a member of CIBC’s team, the Senior Project Manager, IT oversees the day-to-day project activities of complex projects, ensuring project control procedures and policies are adhered. The role works with minimal direction, applying deep knowledge in their field of expertise to manage the delivery of project management best practices and processes.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in project management, ideally within the financial services or technology industry
• Managed cross-portfolio projects in a matrix environment
• Experience with waterfall and agile methodologies and knowledge of the Software Delivery Life Cycle (SDLC)
• Experience with project and issue management tools such as MS Projects, ServiceNow, JIRA and have a strong understanding of project financials
• Degree/diploma in Computer Science, Engineering, Management Information Systems, or a related field of study
• PMP designation an asset
