SRE Specialist 3

Fortinet is seeking an intermediate SRE Specialist to join their FortiGuard operation team. This role focuses on maintaining and improving consumer-facing services around the world, with a focus on security and reliability. The position involves system administration, vulnerability management, Kubernetes management, infrastructure as code, and on-call support.

Requirements

• Administer Linux servers across distributions (Ubuntu, Red Hat, Oracle)
• Monitor performance metrics and troubleshoot performance issues
• Vulnerability and patch management
• Kubernetes cluster administration and CI/CD implementation
• Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and on-call support
• 3+ years practical experience in Linux, Virtualized environments, and automation tools
• Knowledge of network/server systems and monitoring tools
• Knowledge of observability tools
• Knowledge of scripting languages (Bash, Python, Go) and industry-standard protocols
• Experience with system security practices and hardening
