ServiceNow is seeking a Staff Data Platform Software Engineer to contribute to Trino Engine development and optimization within the Platform Persistence group. This role focuses on building and maintaining critical components of the Trino engine and its containerized deployment infrastructure, ensuring performance, reliability, and scalability. The company is a global leader in AI-enhanced cloud technology.
Requirements
- Experience in leveraging or critically thinking about how to integrate AI into work processes.
- Solid expertise in Trino engine development or similar distributed query engines.
- Strong understanding of container orchestration platforms (Kubernetes, Docker) and distributed query processing.
- Advanced knowledge of Java/JVM ecosystem and performance tuning.
- Strong background in SQL and distributed database systems.
- Familiarity with monitoring and observability tools.
