Staff Linux Administrator

This role is for a Staff Linux Administrator focused on delivering operational support to German customers with ServiceNow's AI-enhanced cloud platform. The administrator will oversee system administration, database management, and DevOps operations, ensuring a stable, secure, and scalable infrastructure. This position involves developing tools to enhance customer maintenance, and troubleshooting database issues, ensuring the platform is maintained and evolves with evolving business needs.

Requirements

• Strong background in systems architecture and engineering
• Understanding of software infrastructure components (hardware, OS, virtualization, application servers)
• 6+ years’ experience building and maintaining Linux-based systems
• Significant experience working on Relational Database technologies (MariaDB, Oracle or PostgreSQL)
• Solid problem-solving and critical thinking skills
• Fluency in German and English
• Fluent in German and English (written and verbal)
• German or EU citizenship.
