Staff Linux System Admin - Federal role involves administering and operating global cloud infrastructure, contributing to configuration management and infrastructure as code, and driving enhancements and bug fixes for large-scale automation projects.

Requirements

  • Expert-level skills and background in systems administration and engineering
  • 6+ years of experience with Linux (RedHat and/or CentOS)
  • Expert-level skills with performance and availability monitoring, analysis, and configuration management platforms
  • Working level knowledge of one: Perl, Python, JavaScript
  • Familiarity with MySQL, Oracle, MariaDB, or similar technologies
  • Expert-level skills and experience with service troubleshooting in a production environment
  • Familiarity with Networking Technologies such as routing, switching and load balancing
  • Understanding of ITIL v3 framework and how it applies to incidents, problems and change
  • Good communication skills and work well in a collaborative team environment

  • Base pay $123,300 - $209,700 plus equity (when applicable), variable/incentive compensation and benefits
