Staff Network Engineer

ServiceNow is seeking a Network SME to support their strategic partner in Germany by implementing and maintaining their system environments. This role involves network and system administration, database management, and DevOps operations, focused on seamless operational support and a secure, scalable infrastructure. The ideal candidate will be skilled in Linux systems, enterprise networks, and scripting.

Requirements

• Proven experience in production engineering or SRE roles
• Deep understanding of TCP/IP, routing protocols, DNS, load balancing, and firewall management
• Proficiency in infrastructure-as-code tools (e.g., Terraform, Ansible) and scripting (e.g., Python, Bash)
• Experience with cloud-native networking (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and hybrid environments
• Strong troubleshooting skills across OSI layers and familiarity with packet analysis tools
• Fluent in German and English (written and verbal)
• Ability to be on call if required
• Ability to travel to our customer site in Germany
