ServiceNow is a global market leader in AI-enhanced technology, and they are looking for a Staff Software Engineer- Network Systems to join their team. The successful candidate will build and maintain robust software systems, lead and optimize CI/CD pipelines, and design and secure containerized applications.
Requirements
- 5+ years of software development experience with proficiency in at least two programming languages (Python, Go, Java)
- Expert-level CI/CD and Infrastructure as Code experience using GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, Terraform, Ansible
- Deep containerization expertise with Docker/Podman
- Solid TCP/IP networking foundation including IPv4/IPv6, DNS, HTTP/HTTPS protocols, routing protocols (BGP, OSPF)
- Practical load balancing and network troubleshooting experience with NGINX, Envoy, F5, cloud load balancers
- Cloud platform expertise with hands-on experience in at least one major platform (AWS, Azure, GCP)
- Comprehensive monitoring and observability skills using Prometheus, Grafana, Splunk, ELK stack
