Staff Software Engineer

ServiceNow is looking for a Staff Software Engineer to collaborate with the Data Center Operations team to deliver technical solutions. The ideal candidate has a strong background in web development, messaging protocols, and data centers, with a passion for building scalable solutions.

Requirements

• Experience in leveraging or critically thinking about how to integrate AI into work processes, decision-making, or problem-solving
• 6+ years of experience with Java or a similar OO language
• Experience with node.js and REST APIs
• Passion for JavaScript and the Web as a platform, reusability, and componentization
• Positive "can do" attitude and self-motivated with the ability to multitask
• Experience with data centers, distributed systems and platforms
• Ability to understand abstract requirements and translate them into implementations
• Interest in data analysis and utilization, including standardising metrics, making dashboards, and workflows
• Proven ability to work in a team and collaborative mindset
• Ability to work with a diverse group of stakeholders to deliver solutions in a timely manner
