Staff Software Engineer

ServiceNow is seeking a Staff Software Engineer to work in the Orlando office, building high-quality code and designing software that is simple to use. The ideal candidate will have 6+ years of experience with Java or a similar OO language, a passion for JavaScript and the Web as a platform, and experience with data structures and algorithms.

Requirements

• Experience in leveraging or critically thinking about how to integrate AI into work processes, decision-making, or problem-solving.
• 6+ years of experience with Java or a similar OO language.
• Passion for JavaScript and the Web as a platform, reusability, and componentization.
• Experience with data structures, algorithms, object-oriented design, design patterns, and performance/scale considerations.
• Clear Understanding (and some hands on experience) of Unix Systems, Cloud Engineering (Servers, Network, Sys Engg, Virtualization).
• Understanding and experience of Containerization Stack (like Docker, Kubernetes) and their use in efficient & intelligent DevOps lifecycle.
• Experience with any of the modern UI frameworks like Angular, React or Vue.
• Analytical and design skills.
• Ability to manage projects with material technical risk at a team level.
