Staff Software Gen AI Engineer

ServiceNow is seeking a Staff Software AI Engineer to develop scalable and maintainable applications and workflows within the ServiceNow platform, leveraging AI technologies such as Agentic AI, Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), and Knowledge Graphs (KGs). The ideal candidate will have experience in building enterprise applications on the ServiceNow platform, including scripting, Flow Designer, and Integration Hub, as well as strong programming skills in Python, Java, or JavaScript.

Requirements

• 8+ years of software development experience with a solid foundation in system design and cloud engineering
• Experience in building enterprise applications on the ServiceNow platform, including scripting, Flow Designer, and Integration Hub
• Strong familiarity with AIA Studio for creating intelligent, no/low-code automation flows integrated with AI
• Hands-on experience with AI technologies: Agentic AI, RAG frameworks, Knowledge Graphs, and LLM APIs
• Strong programming skills in Python, Java, or JavaScript
• Experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP) and vector databases and embeddings
• Experience working with GTM domains (CRM, customer engagement, marketing automation, sales analytics)

• Base pay of $147,300 to $257,800, plus equity (when applicable), variable/incentive compensation and benefits
