Storage Administrator

Discovery Technology Services is seeking a Storage Administrator to manage and support the storage environment for the South African group companies, leveraging infrastructure as code and cloud technologies. The role involves monitoring, troubleshooting, and ensuring the availability of storage resources, SLAs, and ServiceNow calls within a 99.50% uptime.

Requirements

• Knowledge and skill working with Pure FlashArray, Pure ActiveCluster, Pure FlashBlade, Dell PowerMax, Vast Data Platform, Dell Elastic Cloud Storage, Brocade Storage Area Network (SAN) Switches, Scripting (PowerShell, Python, Bash, ..), and Veritas InfoScale.
• Matric with a certificate in Pure FlashArray, Pure ActiveCluster, Pure FlashBlade, Dell PowerMax, Vast Data Platform, Dell Elastic Cloud Storage, Brocade SAN Switches, Veritas InfoScale, Unix or Linux – advantageous.
