The University of British Columbia is seeking a Student Product Manager to lead the development and implementation of innovative service, business solutions, and programs. The successful candidate will have experience managing a broad range of general and specialized HR, Finance or Student functions, and a strong understanding of technology and organizational change management methods and approaches.

Requirements

  • Undergraduate degree in a relevant discipline
  • Minimum of eight years of related experience
  • Experience working with Workday is an asset
  • Experience working in a complex, academic environment is preferred
  • Working knowledge of HR, Finance or Student management products preferably within higher education environments
  • Demonstrated ability to manage a broad range of general and specialized HR, Finance or Student functions
  • Demonstrated technical, generalist knowledge in all aspects of practices and processes
  • Expert experience managing quality assurance, testing data integration, security, and report development processes
  • Advanced experience working with a variety of software including Jira, Confluence and ticketing systems, such as ServiceNow
