We are seeking a dynamic System Administrator (CSE III) to manage and maintain our IT infrastructure, ensuring optimal performance and operations across multiple subsystems. This is a hands-on role that requires deep technical knowledge, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to lead projects and work independently in a task-oriented, schedule driven environment.
Requirements
- A Bachelor’s degree is required, plus five (5) years’ experience or a Master’s Degree in Engineering and three (3) years of Engineering Experience
- Experience with Microsoft Windows OS, and Linux
- Experience with SIEM, and flaw remediation tools.
- Excellent customer service skills
- Experience troubleshooting network related issues
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Experience working with Windows Server 2019/2022, Windows 10/11, Microsoft AD and GPO, RHEL 8/9, Ubuntu 18-24 LTS, SQL, VMware.
- Prior experience with Splunk/ELK, BigFix, Tenable, smart card auth, or other gov/regulated environments.
- Experienced with performing patch and vulnerability management.
- Experienced with troubleshooting applications and end user device issues, servers, and databases.
- Familiar with networking concepts to include, but not limited to, VLANs, firewalls, subnets, DNS, and IPv4.
- Familiar with Azure/AWS/Google cloud computing concepts.
- Experience with device configuration and installations such as desktops, servers, DC’s, PDU’s, UPS, etc.
- Experience working with PowerShell, Backup solutions, Maximo, ServiceNow.
- Familiar with automation tools.
