The System and Network Administrator is responsible for the IT infrastructure of a client environment, including managing systems, networks, and security. This role requires hands-on experience with technologies like Microsoft 365, Active Directory, Azure, and VMWare, as well as strong problem-solving and communication skills. It focuses on ensuring seamless operation and security of both on-premises and cloud-based systems.
Requirements
- 3+ yearsof experience as a System and Network Administrator
- 2+ yearsof experience in a helpdesk or technical support role
- Expertise in Microsoft 365, Active Directory, and Azurecloud platforms
- In-depth knowledge of firewall technologies and VPN solutions
- Strong proficiency in VMWare
- Experience managing Windows desktop and server environments (20082022)
- Proficiency withticketing and remote management toolssuch as ConnectWise, Kaseya, ServiceNow, and other similar platforms
- Solid understanding of networking protocols, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and VPN configurations
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Proficiency with monitoring tools and network management platforms
