Systems Engineer

ServiceNow is seeking a Systems Engineer to design, develop, and maintain software, APIs, and microservices on AWS/Azure/GCP. The role involves code quality, reliability, and collaboration with Product, QA, and engineering teams. ServiceNow provides innovative AI-enhanced technology to customers worldwide.

Requirements

• Experience in integrating AI into work processes.
• 3-6 years building/operating high-scale backend APIs and platforms.
• Go expertise in idiomatic design, goroutines/channels, context/timeouts, and asynchronous programming.
• API design and productization with REST/gRPC, OpenAPI/Protobuf, and versioning.
• Data & caching with PostgreSQL/MySQL and Redis.
• Reliability and observability through logging, request IDs, OpenTelemetry, and SLOs.
• API security with OAuth2/OIDC, mTLS, RBAC/ABAC, and KMS.
• Kubernetes ops with EKS/AKS/GKE, cluster upgrades, and CI/CD.
• Cloud depth in AWS/Azure/GCP.
• CI/CD and supply chain with GitHub Actions/GitLab/Jenkins, and linters.
