As the Telemetry and Observability Architect, you will play a crucial role in the Platform Architecture team, part of Takeda’s Foundational Technology Platforms. Your primary responsibility will be to work with Platform Managers and recommend architecture standards that enhance telemetry, monitoring, and observability for our diverse infrastructure.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
  • 7+ years of experience spanning multiple IT disciplines including technical architecture, networking, DevOps, middleware, database management, or operations.
  • 6+ years of experience designing and enabling telemetry, monitoring, and observability environments using leading APM/AIOPS solutions (Splunk, AppDynamics, ThousandEyes, ServiceNow desired).
  • 5+ years of experience spanning multiple IT disciplines including technical architecture, networking, DevOps, middleware, database management, or operations.
  • 5+ years of experience with multi-cloud, distributed, and hybrid cloud environments.
  • 2+ years of experience with infrastructure automation (Infrastructure as Code, configuration management).
  • Working knowledge of DevOps CI/CD technologies and lifecycle.
  • Demonstrated experience with IT service management integrations.
  • Strong knowledge of hybrid cloud security principles and best practices.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work on complex projects.
