Vice President, Infrastructure Engineer

BNY is seeking a Vice President, Infrastructure Engineer to join their Engineering team in Chennai/Pune. The role involves operational support for AI infrastructure, managing deployments, developing and maintaining automation, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and troubleshooting networking/storage issues. Success in this role requires a strong understanding of DevOps practices and experience with infrastructure ticketing systems like JIRA and ServiceNow.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related discipline or equivalent work experience
• 6-8 years of application or infrastructure related experience
• 10+ years of experience in infrastructure engineering, DevOps, or site reliability roles
• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes, Docker, HELM, and GitLab CI/CD
• Proficiency in Python and Bash/Shell scripting
• Familiarity with enterprise tools like JIRA, ServiceNow, and Azure AD
• Willingness to participate in weekend or after-hours support rotations
