BNY is seeking a Vice President of Mainframe Engineer to join their Fund and Investor Solutions Platform team in Pittsburgh. This role involves developing and maintaining application software, performing requirements gathering, designing software systems, and ensuring system performance. The ideal candidate will have a background in mainframe technologies and experience in a production environment.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field
- 5-9 years of experience
- 10+ years of experience in Technologies like COBOL, JCL, CICS, EZYTRIEVE, IBM DB2, VSAM, File transmissions NDM/SFTP, and Object-oriented Programming concepts
- In-depth knowledge of IBM IDZ Mainframe emulation software
- Knowledge of scheduling software ControlM
- Experience supporting mainframe applications in a production environment
- Experience using ServiceNow or comparable platforms
- Experience using Agile tools including Jira, Zephyyr Scale, and Confluence
