The Analyst, Leaves (Temporary) role is responsible for the full lifecycle of an employee's leave of absence, from initial system entry to return-to-work coordination. This is a temporary position for an 18-month term.

Requirements

  • Administer day-to-day operations of leave programs
  • Ensure compliance with applicable federal and provincial legislation and organizational policies
  • Collaborate with HR Business Partners, Disability Management, Occupational Health Nurses, and insurance providers
  • Maintain accurate and current employee data in HR systems
  • Partner with internal teams to resolve complex issues
  • Respond to employee inquiries regarding leave policies and procedures
  • Interpret union collective bargaining agreements and applicable legislation
  • Stay informed on Canadian legislation related to leaves and benefits
  • Develop and maintain audit processes
  • Keep process documentation and training materials current
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
  • Adapt to evolving technologies and support their implementation
  • Uphold employee privacy and confidentiality
  • Provide ongoing support and guidance to the HRSC Employee Support Team
  • Assist with ad-hoc tasks as assigned by the Manager

Requirements Summary
