Application Developer - SME

SkyePoint Decisions is a leading Cybersecurity Architecture and Engineering, Critical Infrastructure and Operations, and Applications Development and Maintenance IT service provider. As an Application Developer - SME, you will support some of our nation's most critical information systems and protect our customer's most sensitive data and complex systems from all forms of threats.

Requirements

• 8+ years of relevant experience
• ServiceNow Certified System Administrator certification
• Current clearance and ability to obtain a DHS Public Trust
• Experience with developing and managing data models
• Experience designing and developing solutions with PaaS solutions such as ServiceNOW in an Agile Software Development environment
• Experience designing and developing Application Programming Interfaces (APIs) with Representation State Transfer (REST), Simple Object Access Protocol (SOAP), and JavaScript Object Notation (JSON)
• Technical proficiency with developing database queries, batch jobs, and stored procedures with PL/SQL and NoSQL
• Experience with database programming using SQL, Oracle DB/ PostgreSQL DB / MySQL
• Experience developing solutions using Message Services, including management of Apache ActiveMQ / AWS SQS
• Experience developing web applications with responsive UI frameworks to support multiple platforms including compatibility with Chrome, Internet Explorer, and iOS
• Experience with all aspects of configuration management planning including configuration identification, change control, configuration status accounting, configuration audits, configuration documentation
• Experience engineering and implementing DevOpsSec (CI/CD) pipelines and incorporate security protocols while deploying infrastructure as code (IaC)
• Experience with Cloud and AWS Administration, and supporting set up of AWS Infrastructure
• Strong Javascript abilities
