The Application Support Analyst will support daily production batches, research and identify failed batches, and provide seamless customer experience. The role requires attention to detail, quick turnaround, and liaison with various support teams across multiple vendors.
Requirements
- Experience in handling production support activities, identifying and resolving technical issues.
- Experience with handling ETL jobs in Sybase/Oracle with sound expertise in UNIX to identify issues at data level and trace file transfers from one system to another.
- Good expertise in database level analysis to trace issues to closure.
- Extensive experience in writing complex and efficient SQL DML statements.
- Managing ticketed query system and ensuring comprehensive database of queries and resolutions is kept up to date.
- Delivering regular and customized training to teams within the business
- Strong design & execution bend of mind to help resolve complex technical issues.
- Ticketing tools like ServiceNow
- Scheduling tools like AutoSys
- Thorough understanding of ETL and relational database methodologies.
- Software engineering best practices
- Passion for technology and self- starter
- Strong writing, communication, time-management, decision-making, and basic task organization skills
- Ability to prioritize and manage schedules under tight, SLA’s.
