AppOps, Lead

Interac is seeking a Technical Lead with expertise in Site Reliability engineering, DevOps and Application Management to lead technical analysis and drive application and platform insights, working closely with teams to deliver and maintain cutting-edge payment solutions.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field
• Expertise in using version control systems, such as Git, for managing codebases and collaboration
• Strong expertise with scripting e.g. Shell, Python, and Ansible
• Experience with microservices and containerization (i.e., Docker)
• Experience using tools such as Azure Monitor, Splunk, Dynatrace, Grafana, ServiceNow
• Strong knowledge of Agile development and Agile frameworks
• Good understanding of software lifecycle including release planning, release processes, software testing, incident, problem and change management
• Good understanding of different types of open-source packages, preferably Spring, Apache and data transformation (JSON, XML)
• Experience with OpenShift Kubernetes
• Experience managing/migrating workload from on prem to cloud
• Good understanding of database systems such as Oracle, EDB, PostgresSQL
• Experience working in the Financial and Payments services
• ITIL Certification
• SRE Certification
