Asset and Configuration Manager

Focus Group is seeking an Asset & Configuration Manager to oversee the full asset lifecycle and drive operational excellence. This role involves defining, building, and managing the CMDB, ensuring compliance, and providing insights on cost optimisation. It requires a strong understanding of ITIL best practices and experience with IT Asset Management.

Requirements

• Strong Understanding of ITIL (v4 preferred)
• Deep familiarity with Service Configuration Management and IT Asset Management practices.
• Practical Experience Establishing or Overhauling CMDB / IT Asset Management systems.
• Tooling Expertise: Experience with ServiceNow, or similar.
• Comfortable integrating asset/configuration tools with discovery systems, CI/CD pipelines, and ITSM tools.
• Asset Inventory Accuracy
• CMDB Accuracy Rate
• Time to Resolve Asset-Related Incidents
