The Assistant Director of Enterprise GRC will develop and implement enterprise risk tooling and methodologies to drive the ongoing maturation of Northwestern Mutual’s enterprise risk management operating model. They will collaborate with Enterprise Risk Management & Resiliency (ERMR) leaders, and act as a liaison with stakeholders and managing strategic partnerships.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or advanced degree in Risk Management, Finance, Operations, Engineering, or a relevant area, plus 7 years+ of progressive experience involving Risk Management, or other related functions.
  • Substantial experience implementing GRC or similar cross-functional process and technology capabilities.
  • Working knowledge of regulatory and risk management frameworks relevant to the enterprise.
  • Experience with ServiceNow IRM module, with ServiceNow certifications such as: Certified System Administrator (CSA), Certified Application Developer (CAD), Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS) preferred.
  • Proven experience managing complex projects ensuring successful delivery within scope, budget and timeline – Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred.
  • Knowledge of NM’s existing organization, governance structure, culture preferred.
