Windward Consulting is seeking a highly skilled Azure Monitoring Engineer to join our Enterprise Monitoring team. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience with System Center Operations Manager (SCOM), Azure Monitor, and other tools for synthetic monitoring and application performance monitoring.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
- Proven experience with SCOM and Azure Monitor for application and infrastructure monitoring.
- Strong knowledge of Azure IaaS SaaS and PaaS.
- Experience with ServiceNow event management and integration with monitoring tools.
- Ability to create and manage dashboards for monitoring and reporting.
- Knowledge of Splunk for log analysis and monitoring is highly desirable.
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Experience with scripting and automation tools is a plus.
