Azure Principal Engineer I - Data Governance

As an Azure Principal Engineer I – Data Governance, you will support our hybrid compute environment with a focus on Data Governance. You will design and implement new project scope, resolve cases and change requests, and maintain data integrity and compliance. You will work closely with various teams and collaborate with project and business sponsors to refine requirements and objectives of targeted solutions.

Requirements

• 8+ years of related experience
• Bachelor's degree in related field required, Masters or MBA in related field preferred
• Previous leadership experience preferred
• Advanced to expert knowledge of general Financial Services or Banking is preferred
• Advanced to expert knowledge of applicable regulatory and legal compliance obligations, rules and regulations, industry standards and practices
• Advanced to expert experience in leading cross-functional teams and managing multiple projects simultaneously with an established expertise in one or more key domains of the bank (Deposits, Loans, Operations or Reporting)
• Advanced to expert experience in NAS/File Share best practice design, implementation, and migration
• Advanced to expert experience in hybrid cloud file data services, Windows File Server, Azure Files, and other vendor specific NAS solutions
• Advanced to expert knowledge in Microsoft Distributed File System (DFS) management and best practices
• Advanced to expert experience deploying and using data migration tools (i.e. Robocopy, Symphony, and other vendor specific tools)
• Advanced to expert experience planning and implementing a large and complex data migration project
• Advanced to expert experience with data discovery, classification, security, and vulnerability management
• Advanced to expert experience operating within an ITIL ITSM organization with a background using ServiceNow
• Advanced to expert knowledge of diagramming software such as Microsoft Visio and Lucidchart
• Advanced to expert user experience of monitoring tools such as SolarWinds, Netbrain, LiveAction, ThousandEyes, AppDynamics, Elasticsearch, Logstash, and Kibana
• Advanced speaking and writing communication skills
