The UCF IT within Facilities and Business Operations is seeking a Business Systems Analyst IV to serve as a key strategic liaison between UCF IT and academic and central support units. The ideal candidate will have advanced analytical and problem-solving skills, a comprehensive understanding of complex business processes, and the ability to translate technical concepts into clear, actionable insights for non-technical stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Serve as the primary liaison between UCF IT and designated academic or central support units
  • Conduct comprehensive business process analyses to document current-state workflows
  • Partner with business and academic leaders to define and document clear business needs
  • Research, evaluate, and recommend technological and process solutions
  • Develop detailed requirements documentation and process flow diagrams
  • Identify opportunities for process automation
  • Support business and academic leaders in developing comprehensive business cases
  • Guide stakeholders through the IT governance and project intake processes
  • Develop application and system rationalization plans
  • Collaborate closely with the Project Management Office (PMO)
  • Identify opportunities for continuous improvement within UCF IT
  • Work in partnership with the IT Service Management (ITSM) and Performance Analytics teams
  • Collaborate with the Organizational Change Management (OCM) and Technology Adoption teams
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements Summary

5+ years of relevant experience in business systems analysis and IT governance, with a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
