Capacity Engineer, SME

CACI is seeking an experienced and highly skilled Subject Matter Expert (SME) Capacity Engineer to join our team to support our customer, U.S. Southern Command (USSOUTHCOM), in Doral, Florida. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing and optimizing the C5 Enterprise Data Center processes in alignment with USSOUTHCOM and Dept of State Mission Planning Objectives.

Requirements

• Active secret level clearance
• Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, or related field
• Minimum 13 years of experience in Data Center management roles or a mixture of DoD and commercial experience demonstrating expertise in developing data center solutions.
• DoD 8140 Intermediate qualification or similar industry standard certification
• Demonstrates proficiency in capacity management within an enterprise environment.
• Possesses comprehensive knowledge of IT resource monitoring techniques and proactive identification of performance issues.
• Exhibits expertise in developing and validating capacity models, ensuring alignment with requirements and program/project plans.
• Demonstrates skill in collaborating with security teams to implement and maintain robust security policies and procedures
• Proven ability to lead and facilitate meetings with diverse groups of stakeholders
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Experience with change management tools and ITSM platforms (ServiceNow)
