Cloud Infra Administrator

Cloud Infra Administrator at BCS will maintain and optimize cloud computing systems, responsible for monitoring and supporting Cloud and Hybrid Cloud infrastructure. The incumbent will work with Amazon Web Services (AWS) to assess applications, software and hardware.

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in AWS operations and support.
• AWS certified cloud practitioner with good experience in cloud, micro-services and event driven architecture.
• Work on mission-critical systems with a high throughput.
• Certificate management.
• Experience of software release management and infrastructure support
• Security understanding & fixes.
• Good knowledge of AWS and ServiceNow monitoring tools.
• Investigate causes of incidents and seek resolution, escalating as appropriate.
• Hands-on, detailed and a team player exemplifying the “can-do” attitude.
• Experience in Infrastructure engineering and automation
• Good knowledge and experience of computer networking such as WAN, LAN, Network zoning, routing, network resiliency, load-balancing, firewall, VPNs, etc.
• knowledge of AWS RDS
• Good knowledge of application technology stack and application containerization
• Good knowledge and experience with Python and/or YAML.
• Own the successful deployment of cloud-based projects.
• Ability to communicate in a straightforward and structured way to influence and connect with others, in both written and verbal communication.
• Work closely with application users to diagnose and resolve issues with cloud-hosted applications or systems.
• Experience in basic administration of MySQL, MSSQL, Postgres, DynamoDB, MongoDB and/or ElasticSearch.
