We are looking for a Cloud System Administrator to join our Global Software Solutions team and work alongside our software development team to design, implement, monitor, maintain, and optimize Cloud infrastructure and platform applications to ensure high levels of service availability and security.
Requirements
- Provision, manage, monitor, and decommission Cloud services to ensure their availability, reliability, and security
- Implement and maintain cloud infrastructure components, including load balancers, caching, web servers, application servers, databases, and networking, following industry best practices
- Develop Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions using Bicep, Terraform, ARM templates, or similar tools to streamline resource provisioning and management
- Automate deployment and configuration management using scripting languages such as PowerShell, Python, or Bash
- Deploy and maintain Platform as a Service (PaaS) and Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) resource to support hosted products and solutions
- Investigate and resolve production issues promptly to minimize downtime and ensure system reliability
- Implement Cloud specific monitoring techniques and establish robust web services hosting solutions, optimizing server and application performance
- Collaborate with Security Operations (SecOps) to implement and enforce Cloud security best practices
- Work closely with DevOps, Software Development, and other internal teams to facilitate seamless integration and alignment of Cloud services with business requirements
- Support CI/CD pipelines by automating deployment processes using tools like GitHub Actions and Azure DevOps
- Maintain disaster recovery and business continuity strategies for Cloud infrastructure

- Experience and knowledge: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years of proven experience as a Cloud Administrator, Cloud Platform Engineer, or similar role, preferably in a hosting environment
- Microsoft Azure Administrator Associate and ITIL v4 Fundamentals certification preferred
- Proficiency in Windows Server administration, IIS, and.NET applications
- Strong system administration skills (Windows) at the command-line level
- Solid understanding of database structures, theories, principles, and practices
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Bicep, Terraform, or ARM templates
- Expertise in automation scripting using PowerShell, Python, or Bash
- Knowledge of cloud networking, including VNETs, VPNs, load balancing, and subnet management
- Familiarity with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes
- Familiarity with Jira Atlassian, ServiceNow and Agile workflows
- Understanding of CI/CD tools and processes for Cloud-based solutions
- Experience with Kubernetes, Helm, or managing containerized workloads is ideal
- Knowledge of Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) concepts and their practical implementation, including reliability best practices, monitoring, incident response, and automation
- Knowledge of cost optimization strategies for cloud environments, including reserved instances and rightsizing
