Cloud Technical Architect

SAS is seeking a Technical Architect for the Cloud and Information Services (CIS) division in SAS’s Cloud and Information Services (CIS) division. This role involves leading data management systems in SAS Cloud, serving as a technical lead bridging between sales, business development, and technical execution. The architect will help shape how SAS operates in the region and work with a variety of customers, focusing on technical requirements, implementation proposals, and client satisfaction. This is a key position in a rapidly growing area within SAS, offering flexibility, a world-class employee experience, and innovative technologies.

Requirements

• 5+ years of system engineering, project management, applications development, technical architecture and design and/or customer support experience
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, or related field
• Proven experience in technical architecture or design authority roles within cloud or managed services environments
• Strong understanding of architecture and IT service management frameworks
• Strong understanding of designing cloud-native solutions across Azure, AWS, or hybrid environments
• Experience with CICD pipelines, infrastructure-as-code, and container orchestration
• Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills
• Strong documentation and governance capabilities
• Proficiency in ServiceNow, MS Office & Atlassian Jira/Confluence
• Strategic thinker with a pragmatic approach to technical problem-solving
• Collaborative and adaptable with a commitment to continuous learning
• Right to work in posted country
