Configuration Management Lead

Sev1Tech is seeking a Configuration Management Lead to support a DHS team providing enterprise IT operations, with a focus on infrastructure management and operations. The role involves minimizing manual intervention, improving efficiency, and reducing human errors through automation and the use of AI and predictive analytics. The team will be responsible for monitoring, incident response, cybersecurity, system administration, patching, unified communications, and hosting. The ideal candidate will maintain CMDBs, manage Agile/DevOps methodologies, and be proficient in Jenkins, Jira, Salesforce, and basic Unix.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree
• 4 years’ team lead experience in IT Configuration Management
• Experience maintaining CMDB with ServiceNow or Remedy
• Experience on maintaining baseline for effort with Agile and DevOps methodologies
• Advanced knowledge of configuration management databases (CMDB)
• 5+ years of IT requirements management, configuration management, or Systems Engineering experience
• Mid-level experience in configuration and change management principles
• Knowledge of Jenkins, configuration management database (CMDB), code packaging, Jira, Salesforce, ELK, Git Hub, AWS and basic Unix commands
